"ADVOCACY TO MOBILISE RESOURCES FOR LOCAL AND NATIONAL ACTORS"

This multilingual webinar took place on Thursday, 12 December 2024 at 14:00 - 15:30 (Geneva time/CEST)

In line with the global commitment on localisation, GNC's Localisation Roadmap and the Resource Partner Engagement Action Plan, the GNC is stepping up its resource mobilisation support to enhance nutrition sector local and national actors’ (LNAs) direct access to humanitarian financing. A series of three webinars was launched in June 2024 in collaboration with LNAs and funding partners, with the first one held in June and the second one in September. As of today, this capacity strengthening initiative has counted with the participation of nearly 350 LNA representatives from across the globe.

This third webinar focuses on advocacy for resource mobilisation to enhance LNAs’ capacities for strategic donor engagement and resource mobilisation to increase their access to direct humanitarian funding.

Target Audience
Nutrition sector local and national actors (LNAs) from all regions – both government and non-government, national and sub-national actors.

Language and Accessibility
The session will be conducted in English, with simultaneous interpretation available in French, Spanish, and Arabic.

Expected Output
By attending this webinar, participants will enhance their capacities for strategic donor engagement and resource mobilisation, enabling them to secure greater access to direct humanitarian funding.
