The GNC Strategy 2026-2029 was developed through a dynamic desk review and broad consultation with more than 150 actors at national, regional, and global levels through key informant interviews, global conversations, stakeholder surveys, and working sessions. The consensus-driven process was led by a strategy development consultant and continually informed by a convened Strategic Reference Group as well as strategic insights and approvals from the GNC Strategic Advisory Group and GNC leadership.
This strategy builds onward from the Global Nutrition Cluster Strategy 2022-2025, reflects the GNC’s evolution in the areas of localisation and climate, aligns with the Humanitarian Reset amid a changing humanitarian sector, and aims to reflect the desired direction and aspirations of the GNC Collective.
