Inter-Cluster/Sector Collaboration (ICSC) refers to the coordinated actions undertaken by relevant clusters and sectors to work together toward a common goal, where responses are implemented at the same time, in the same place, for the same people based on prioritized needs to achieve a mutually agreed-upon outcomes.
The ICSC approach brings relevant clusters and sectors together to not only share information but also to actively plan and collaborate on joint actions. In this way, ICSC goes beyond mere coordination between clusters and sectors; it enhances the efforts of the Inter-Cluster Coordination Group (ICCG), which is led by OCHA and facilitates the sharing of information and coordination of humanitarian interventions among various clusters and sectors at both the global and national levels.
