Skill Up and Stand Out with GNC Learn!

Hosted on Agora’s platform, GNC Learn offers free, comprehensive short courses and modules covering essential topics in Nutrition Cluster Coordination (NCC), Information Management (IM), Nutrition in Emergencies (NiE), Inter Cluster/Sector Collaboration (ICSC), and an Orientation for New Nutrition Cluster Partners. It also provides valuable resources on cross-cutting themes in humanitarian coordination such as Disability Inclusion, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA).

Our bite-sized courses are designed to strengthen the capacity of individuals, groups, and organisations in the coordination, or preparation of, nutrition responses in humanitarian contexts. Most courses are available in English, French, and Spanish. Participants can earn certificates for all courses and modules, while badges can be earned upon completion of specific NCC and IM courses.

These eLearning modules are designed to build capacity in Nutrition Cluster Coordination. They are organised into six main functional competencies as defined in the Cluster Coordination Competency Framework. Explore the basics of

Inter Cluster/Sector Collaboration

The ‘Inter-Cluster/Sector Collaboration in practice’ course guides you through the different steps of the Humanitarian Programme Cycle (HPC), from coordination to more technical perspectives, using an Inter-Cluster/Sector Collaboration (ICSC) approach. To assist you in initiating and developing ICSC projects at country-level, case studies are provided in collaboration with the Nutrition, WASH, Health, and Food Security clusters.  

This introductory-level course is designed to help you and your cluster/sector enhance your ability and confidence in engaging and collaborating with other clusters and sectors during joint responses to crises. You will learn to effectively use the best ICSC tools and activities at each stage of the HPC.

This concise ‘Orientation for New Nutrition Cluster Partners’ course features a comprehensive suite of resources, including videos, self-paced animated modules, downloadable presentations, a brochure, and a welcome letter. It provides an in-depth understanding of the coordination platform's functions, the benefits of coordination, and the essential role of cluster partners within the coordination system. Additionally, the Nutrition Cluster Coordination teams can use these resources for in-person briefings.  

This orientation is designed for new cluster partners or new member organisations who want to contribute to, and benefit from, improved humanitarian coordination.
