The 2025 Global Nutrition Cluster (GNC) Global Event is a three-day virtual gathering bringing together GNC core teams, working groups, the global Strategic Advisory Group (SAG), partners, country coordination teams, national authorities, government entities, nutrition practitioners, and implementing partners. A key focus is on prioritising the participation of local and national actors –especially governments– to strengthen the humanitarian response in line with the GNC Localisation Roadmap 2024–2025.

Aligned with the GNC’s mission, the event will foster meaningful dialogue to identify shared priorities, spotlight ongoing initiatives, and drive actionable outcomes. It offers a critical opportunity to enhance emergency nutrition programmes based on the needs of affected populations and to build the coordination capacities of countries—enabling better preparedness, response, and recovery in nutrition emergencies.

Objectives of the 2025 GNC Global Event:

  • Reflect on progress
Review key achievements, challenges, and lessons from the current strategic period (2022–2025), drawing on insights from global, regional, and country-level stakeholders to shape future priorities.
  • Communicate new guidance
Share the latest technical developments and emerging guidance from GNC Working Groups, including key updates, tools, and evidence to support stronger operational coordination and programming in humanitarian contexts.
  • Shape the next GNC Strategy
Launch a consultation process with stakeholders to ensure the next strategy reflects collective perspectives and addresses evolving needs, priorities, and system-wide reforms.
