In this webinar, we shared the newly developed guidance: Interim Programmatic Adaptations for Wasting Programming in Resource-constrained Settings.

This guidance was created in response to the considerable funding cuts that are significantly impacting nutrition programmes globally. It aims to support country-level decision-makers and implementing partners in navigating service disruptions or shortages of essential nutrition commodities. The document offers a practical framework to help prioritise and implement ethical, context-appropriate, and feasible adaptations. It also provides a structured process for coordinating temporary changes while safeguarding humanitarian principles.

Commissioned by the GNC, the guidance was developed collaboratively by Action Against Hunger, Save the Children, and Concern Worldwide, with contributions and technical review from the Wasting Thematic Working Group (GTWG). Regional offices were also consulted during its development to ensure contextual relevance and operational feasibility.

The session was conducted in English, with simultaneous interpretation in French (TBC).

A Q&A with the presenters followed the session.
