Small challenge videos initiative

Nutrition actions before, during and after emergencies is critical for saving lives and achieving broader humanitarian goals. In their efforts to address malnutrition, nutrition practitioners often encounter small challenges such as inaccurate measurement of the Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) by caregivers or front-line health staff looking to identify malnutrition or ineffective counselling by service providers on breastfeeding or different ways of interpreting z-score charts that may not be technically accurate. Therefore, the video challenge initiative aimed at identifying country-specific challenges in implementing NiE interventions that need to be addressed at scale and develop short videos and other relevant social media materials to address the identified challenges using locally generated, context specific, technically accurate content, in local languages.
