Refugees and migrants: Role of nutrition sector in refugee response (with country insights from Uganda and Bangladesh)
This event discussed coordination of the refugee response in emergency contexts using the Refugee Coordination Model (RCM), and in mixed situations (refugees and IDPs) where a humanitarian programme cycle is activated, the interface between the RCM and the cluster approach. Experiences were shared from country-level coordination mechanisms with refugee populations (in Uganda and Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh) and there was a discussion on these various contexts.
