The Global Nutrition Cluster (GNC) and UNICEF present:

Nutrition Vulnerability Analysis for Decision-Making in Low-Access Areas

This multilingual webinar took place on Tuesday, 30 Sept 2025 | 14:00-15:30 (CET/Geneva Time)

Watch the recordings

During the webinar, participants had the opportunity to learn how the Nutrition Vulnerability Analysis (NVA) generates actionable evidence to guide programmatic and advocacy decisions when outcome surveys cannot be conducted, and anthropometric data is missing.

The NVA represents a paradigm shift in nutrition analysis. Designed for contexts with limited or no humanitarian access, it shifts the focus from outcomes alone to the underlying determinants of acute malnutrition—food, care practices, and services. Using remote and qualitative methods, and engaging local partners who know the context best, the NVA consolidates diverse data sources into a structured, consensus-driven analysis.

By transforming fragmented information into a coherent narrative, the NVA provides decision-makers with good enough evidence to monitor risks, anticipate deterioration, and take timely action—even under the most constrained conditions.

🎧 The webinar recording is available with audio tracks in English, French, and Arabic.
