The Moderate Wasting Initiative (MWI), hosted by the GNC, aims to address the challenges nutrition actors face in accessing and applying feasible, effective, context-specific, and innovative solutions to respond to moderate wasting in children under five at scale.

This webinar showcased two toolkits developed under the MWI –with support from Irish Aid and in partnership with Action Against Hunger Nepal and Action Against Hunger UK. One toolkit focuses on Rapid Nutrition Determinants Analysis, while the other covers Sub-National Multisectoral Planning for Nutrition.

Country teams shared how these approaches were developed and piloted in real-world settings. In particular, the MWI presented the approach taken in Nepal, where the focus was on sub-national multisectoral planning to improve access to nutrition services for those most in need.

There was time for Q&A. The webinar was held in English, with simultaneous interpretation into French, Spanish, Nepali, and Arabic.
