GNC partners are organizations, groups or individuals that are committed to working in Nutrition in Emergencies and who are willing to actively support the GNC in fulfilling its role.

The GNC is led by UNICEF as the Cluster Lead Agency (CLA) and is open to actors working in the humanitarian nutrition sector. At global level, the GNC has 37 partners and 16 observers representing International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs), Research and Development Groups, Academic Institutions, UN agencies, donors and individuals. At a country level, in addition to these partners, local authorities, national NGOs and Community Based Organisations are an integral part of each Nutrition Cluster.

To see a full list of partner commitments and responsibilities, see the GNC Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

To apply to become a GNC partner or observer, please fill out one of these letters (Partner OR Observer) and submit it to gnc@unicef.org. Please note that we are revisiting our partnership and observer agreements and as a result we are not taking new partners or observers at this time. However, please continue to share interest with us via the email above and we will be in touch.
