Cecile

Hello, I’m Cécile and I work with the GNC as a Helpdesk on Nutrition in Emergencies (NiE). You can come to me with any questions, I will try my best to support you, as well as organizations and country teams on NiE-related queries. I engage with several of the GNC Global Thematic Working Groups, with UNICEF teams, and can mobilize GNC Advisors and other experts on complex questions that require global guidance. I co-chair the Capacity Strengthening Working Group of the GNC together with Danka Pantchova, and at times, I conduct capacity strengthening activities.

I have about 20 years of professional experience in research, project management, cluster coordination and in advisory roles held in academia, NGO, and UN agency settings held in several countries across Asia, Africa and in the United States. I hold a PhD in molecular and cell biology from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, France.

During my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, often on sailing adventures on the mediterranean sea, I live and work remotely from Antibes, near Nice, in the southeast of France.
