Current Challenges
  • Impacts of recent droughts, recurrent cholera outbreaks and measles, compounded with persistent food insecurity continue to pose humanitarian crisis in Somalia.
  • Ongoing conflict preventing the delivery of humanitarian assistance to rural populations. The conflict is also causing massive displacement of populations to the urban centres overwhelming the existing humanitarian assistance capacities in the arrival locations.
